Cancellation Policy for In-Person Workshops
I understand that plans can change, and I want to offer flexibility wherever possible. Please read the following terms carefully before booking:
Cancellation before 10 days:
If you need to cancel your participation, you may do so up to 10 days before the scheduled workshop date and will receive a full refund minus transaction fees (approx. €5).
Cancellation within 10 days:
Unfortunately, no refund can be issued for cancellations made within 10 days of the workshop date.
This policy exists because my workshops require extensive preparation, including materials and resources purchased based on the confirmed number of participants. Late cancellations often result in unused materials and prevent others from taking your place.
Location changes:
Please note that, on rare occasions, a workshop location within the same city may change (for example, due to studio availability). Such a change does not constitute a valid reason for cancellation or refund.
How to cancel:
To cancel, please reply to your original confirmation email or contact biodesign@aliciavaldes.eu.
Cancellations are only valid once I have received your written notice within the 10-day window.

Cancellation Policy for Online Workshops
Because my online workshops involve immediate access to proprietary knowledge and materials, different conditions apply:
No refunds after sign-up:
Once your registration is confirmed, I am unable to offer cancellations or refunds. This is because participants receive a detailed materials list, preparation guide, and access to processes and techniques developed over many years of research.
Once this information is shared, the workshop is considered partially delivered.
If you can’t attend live:
No problem — you will automatically receive:
A full video recording of the session
A PDF guide summarising all essential steps and resources
This allows you to follow the class at your own pace, even if you cannot attend the live event.
Why this policy exists:
Each workshop requires significant preparation and transparency. Once materials and information are shared, the learning process has effectively begun.
